The Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) is a program designed to help you build yourself into the advocate you’ve always dreamed of. PLTI is a FREE 20- Week course program that offers grandparents, parents, teens and adult who care, to become those who lead in their communities. Through PLTI you will have the skills and tools to improve the lives of children, families and communities.
This 20-Week intense program afford parents the opportunity to earn college credit at College Unbound, where every participant will build confidence, understand government policy and design his/her/ own initiatives to promote change in Providence. Through the community project, all participants will experience what it is like to build, brand and brave his or her own ideas into a beneficial program, policy, or publication for the community. Everything we do, is done in hope to have positive and lasting impact on our families. With support from local agencies, PLTI Alumni, and the Parent Leadership Program facilitators, each participant will have a dedicated team of individuals driven towards his/her success and ready to connect him/her with resources to promote self-sufficiency. We will meet every Thursday evening from 5:00pm- 9:00pm via Zoom starting September 2021. Dinner and child activity basket will be provided courtesy of CAPP, along with all necessary resources. Free Diner, Free Child activity basket, and Free Resources!
