Programs and Services
The Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) is a program designed to help you build yourself into the advocate you’ve always dreamed of being. PLTI is a FREE 20-Week program that offers grandparents, parents, teens and adults, to become the people who lead in their communities. Through PLTI you will have the skills and tools to improve the lives of children, families and communities.
This 20-Week intense program affords parents the opportunity to earn college credit at College Unbound. Every participant will build confidence, learn to understand government policy and design their own initiatives to promote change in Providence. Through their community project, all participants will experience what it is like to build, brand and brave their own ideas into a beneficial program, policy, or publication for the community. Everything we do is done in hope to have positive and lasting impact for our families. With support from local agencies, PLTI Alumni, and the Parent Leadership Program facilitators, each participant will have a dedicated team of individuals driven toward their success and ready to connect them with resources to promote self-sufficiency. Why wait? APPLY TODAY!
We meet every Thursday evening from 5:00pm- 9:00pm via Zoom. Dinner and activity baskets for children will be provided courtesy of CAPP, along with all necessary resources.
