CAPP, established in November of 2012, is a leading provider of social services in Providence, Rhode Island. The organization operates, promotes and supports the development of human service programs aimed at improving the lives of low-to-moderate income individuals and families living in Providence County. CAPP works to minimize poverty while empowering members of the community to be self-sufficient.
Our Mission & Purpose
In partnership with the community, we provide culturally competent services to Providence residents to help them meet the essential needs that support household stability by:
- Creating economic, educational, and other opportunities for and providing a range of services to low-income families and individuals
- Mobilizing resources directed to the elimination of poverty
- Educating the public on issues of poverty and community revitalization
