Programs and Services
CAPP's LIHEAP offers assistance to eligible Providence County residents, assisting with the rising cost of home heating. Residents who do not have oil or utility services should contact CAPP to see what other programs are available to assist them. Residents must be approved for LIHEAP to access Weatherization services.
The LIHEAP 2025 season begins on October 1st 2024. For more information please call us at (401)-273-2000.

Residents are strongly encouraged to apply online and upload their documents virtually.
- Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
- Evening Hours: Tuesday and Thursday 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm (beginning November 5, 2024)

Residents outside of Providence County must contact the Community Action Partnership Agency that services their city or town.

Complete your LIHEAP Application online!
Applicants must have an active e-mail account to complete online application.
Residents who are unable to complete the application online may leave their documents in the drop box outside our office on Hartford Avenue. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing. A LIHEAP staff member will contact you for supplementary information.
While we are accepting applications, our office on Hartford Avenue is not open for in-person applicants. Due to restrictions and safety concerns, in-person meetings with our Benefit Eligibility Specialists are being drastically limited. Call 401.273.2000 ext. 203
Applicants who have received a termination notice and those who have already had services turned off will be given first priority.
