Director of Energy & Housing Stability Programs, Leadership Team
Dayanarah is the Director of Energy & Housing Stability Programs. She is a native of the Dominican Republic and relocated to Providence in 1991 as a young adult. She considers Rhode Island her home. She began her career at CAPP as an intake specialist, advanced to a supervisor, and then manager. She brings to the table extensive social services, management and community engagement experience of more than 15 years. Dayanarah holds several business management certificates and a Bachelor's Degree in Theology and Leadership Studies from the Leadership Bible Institute of New England United Methodist Church, (NEUMC).
She has been instrumental in leading the department's growth. She is a firm believer in empowerment and self-advocacy to bring individuals and communities together to overcome challenges. She is passionate about serving her community and works diligently to improve the quality of life of families and individuals. She possesses an enthusiastic, confident ability to motivate, inspire and lead a team successfully.
Dayanarah is a proud wife, mother, and grandmother.
