Cindy Abraham-Townsend is a dedicated education leader with experience in K -12 and higher education. As the Transformation Officer for Providence Public Schools, she leads district-wide initiatives that improve student achievement and expand access to college and career opportunities. Cindy is completing her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, focusing on workforce and technical education. Passionate about equity and innovation, she brings expertise in strategic planning, curriculum design, and community partnerships to help all students succeed. Cindy holds advanced degrees from Nova Southeastern University and Clark Atlanta University and has earned micro-credentials in Software Development, Labor Relations, Project Management, Evaluation, Meta evaluation, and Cybersecurity. She is an active member of several professional and community organizations, including Phi Delta Kappa, Kappa Delta Pi, Providence-Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the AASA – The School Superintendents Association.
